 ive weak\napproximation for certain projective quadrics over the rational\
 nnumbers as well as quantitative results on strong approximation for\nquat
 ernary quadratic forms over the integers. We will also discuss\nresults on
  the growth of integral points on the three-dimensional\npunctured affine 
 cone and strong approximation with Brauer-Manin\nobstruction for this quas
 i-affine variety. This is joint work with\nZhizhong Huang and Alec Shute.\
