 if its only idempotent polymorphisms\n \nare projections. We will try to 
 classify projective posets using  \ncombinatorial properties. Projective 
 posets of height 1 are completely\n \nunderstood. Moreover\, we know exac
 tly when posets of height 1 have  \nTaylor polymorphisms. We will also di
 scuss known results about posets\n \nof greater height.
