 epresentation Categories_\n\nCategories of representations of groups are w
 ell-behaved: They are\nabelian (behave like module categories)\, symmetric
  monoidal (have\ntensor products)\, every object has a dual and is semi-si
 mple\, to name\na few. A natural question to ask is whether every category
  that\nexhibits similar behaviour is a representation category. Deligne\np
 roved a remarkable theorem that shows every symmetric tensor category\nwit
 h some imposed growth condition is in fact a category of\nrepresentations.
  Moreover\, he constructed some symmetric tensor\ncategories with faster-t
 han-exponential growth-these are so-called\nDeligne categories\, which can
  be interpreted as complex rank analogs\nof classical representation categ
 ories. In this talk\, I will introduce\nthe notion of symmetric tensor cat
 egories\, state Deligne's Theorem\,\nand construct some of the Deligne cat
