"Surfaces, Minimal surfaces, Willmore surfaces and much more"

In this talk, I will discuss the geometry of surfaces and will provide precise meanings to certain geometrical objects, such as curvature. I will also define special types of surfaces and discuss how they helped in shaping modern differential geometry. Along the way, we will see some beautiful examples of surfaces in R³ No prior knowledge of the subject is required, and there will be loads of pictures!
