“Interpolation Sets in Z Abstract

Harmonic analysts have been interested in the thin sets in Z for a long time. Hadamard sets, as a classic example, are the positive increasing integer sequences such that the ratio of two consecutive terms is at least c for some c > 1. This lacunarity allows us to interpolate the bounded functions defined on the Hadamard sets in several different ways.

In this talk, we will discuss a few approaches to do interpolation based on different types of thin sets. We will also mention the relations among the thin sets and explore some interesting properties.
