"Normal forms of dominant polynomial morphisms of the affine plane"

In order to study the dynamics of a dominant polynomial morphism of the affine plane we will describe an induced action on the valuative tree. To study this action we construct an eigenvaluation for this action. Since there is a classification of possible valuations, we obtain a rough classification of dominant polynomial morphisms. This description allows one to make a birational coordinate change and obtain certain normal forms of the morphism. Time permitting we will go through the details of this construction.
