Course selection steps and resources

Logging into Quest

During course selection, you will use Quest to:

  • request your courses
  • view your tuition fees and residence fees, if applicable
  • view your class list and make adjustments to it by adding, dropping, or swapping classes
  • update your contact information.

Using Quest for the first time

Before you can log into Quest, you will need to activate your Waterloo student user ID and password. Read the information for first-time users on the Quest login page for details.

Note: If you have been admitted to Waterloo for the fall 2016 term, you can request your courses beginning at 9 a.m. on July 5.

Even if you have already activated your user ID and password, or, if you activate them before July 5, you will not be able to request courses until that date.
