Jonathan Fugelsang.

Jonathan Fugelsang

Professor; Cognitive Research Area Head

I am a professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Waterloo. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay Ontario and then went to Saskatoon Saskatchewan to study for my PhD at the University of Saskatchewan under the supervision of Valerie Thompson. After obtaining my PhD I spent three years as a post doctoral fellow at Dartmouth College.

In 2015 I received my Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Psychology from the University of Manitoba. Currently, I am working towards a Master of Arts degree in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Waterloo under the combined supervision of Dr. Derek Koehler and Dr. Jonathan Fugelsang.

I earned my Master of Mathematics degree in Pure Mathematics at the University of Waterloo in 2008 and have since taught at the postsecondary level, breaking briefly to earn a BEd in 2012.   I am currently a Master of Arts degree candidate in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Waterloo under the combined supervision of Dr. Jonathan Fugelsang and Dr. Evan Risko.

Shane Littrell

I received Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Psychology and Journalism from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. After several years in the corporate world, I returned to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where I received my Master of Science in Research/Experimental Psychology in 2016. In 2017, I moved to Canada to pursue my PhD in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Waterloo.
