Hosted by the Graduate Association of Recreation and Leisure Studies (GARLS), the Graduate Leisure Research Symposium aims to advance discourses of knowledge surrounding leisure research (recreation, sport, tourism, therapeutic recreation, and the like) and facilitate scholarly communication among students and faculty interested in various aspects of leisure research.

This year the theme is "Celebrating Diversity". The keynote speaker is Dawn Trussell, from Brock University, who will be discussing the challenges in and importance of keeping diverse research interests.
