Visitors to Renison - COVID-19 Protocols

Visitors to Renison

Proof of vaccination is now mandatory for anyone planning to visit Renison. Prior to arriving on campus, you must provide your proof of vaccination using the link below:

Submit your proof of Vaccination to Renison

Without proof of vaccination, you are not permitted to come to Renison. We recognize that some people may need additional time to complete their vaccination series, so we will allow individuals to provide their proof of vaccination by October 17 at the latest. These individuals should still complete the Renison Proof of Vaccination form before coming to campus in order to indicate that they are not yet fully vaccinated. Individuals who are not yet fully vaccinated must test negative on a rapid antigen test no more than 72 hours before coming to our campus and buildings. COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Testing is available in the community from Stay Safe Screen.

Additional Protocols:

Mandatory Self-Assessment Before Entering Renison: This Applies to ALL Individuals Entering Renison

The following protocols must be followed prior to entering the building. As per current public health requirements, you must wear a face covering if you intend to enter the building.

Anyone wishing to enter Renison MUST be fully vaccinated AND:

  • Complete a self-assessment questionnaire https://covid19checkup.ca/.
  • After completing the self-assessment, if advised to go to a COVID-19 assessment centre for testing, follow the instructions that are provided. Please stay home and do not come to campus.

Campus Check-In

  • University of Waterloo has developed a tool called Campus Check-In that will help to monitor campus building occupancy levels and assist with contact tracing COVID-19 cases throughout the campus communities, including Renison and the other colleges.
  • This tool allows Renison to follow up with effective contact tracing should there be any positive cases of COVID-19 on our campus.

If you connect your mobile device to the eduroam Wi-Fi network, your location(s) will be automatically submitted whenever you are on campus, and you will automatically receive an email with a link to complete COVID-19 screening.

If you didn't receive an email link to the COVID-19 screening, you can complete it by visiting:

  • Authenticated User - use this if you are a Waterloo student, employee or alumni
  • Guest User - use this if you are a guest on campus and do not have a Waterloo username and password

Manual check in

If you don't connect your mobile device to eduroam, you can record your visits to campus buildings:

  • Authenticated User - use this if you are a Waterloo student, employee or alumni
