Chaplain Megan chats with students at Christmas College DinnerOver the years College Dinners have been a great way for staff, faculty and students to get together and break bread. In fact, Renison holds a College Dinner three times a semester. All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend a meal where everyone can get together and socialize as a community.

One of the College Dinners that stands out is Christmas College Dinner. There is a Christmas tree, the Great Hall is decorated, the place settings are themed—it is like a large family sitting down for an enjoyable turkey dinner. There have been some special past moments—remember the Follies and the unforgettable Proposal! What makes each year special are the unique traditions and building of traditions that each student, alumni, staff and faculty brings with them to share.

Pictures of Christmas College Dinner are now posted on Renison's Facebook page. Feel free to tag yourself and your friends!

Renison’s Residence is centrally located on the Campus of the University of Waterloo. 220 residents from all University of Waterloo’s faculties make up the small intimate community for which Renison is known.
