April 5: China & Spirituality
Learn about the Chinese “chiao” and “tao/dao” - meaning “teaching” and “ways”. Dr. Darrol Bryant is the director of the Centre for Dialogue and Spirituality in the World Religions at Renison. He will take us back as far as the 5th century BEC to learn about the great spiritual traditions that have been woven into Chinese culture.

Gong Hay Fat Choy! You may hear people say this in celebration of the Chinese New Year, but do you know what it really means? Dr. Yuan Yao, deputy director of the Confucius Institute will share the cultural history and meaning behind centuries-old Chinese festivals.

The Great Wall of China is among the seven wonders of the modern world - but is just one of the many cultural and historical delights awaiting travelers to this magnificent land. Join Fulu Mao as he takes you on a virtual tour of the highlights of China, and learn how you can make your China travel dreams a reality.

May 3: Chinese Medicine
For many centuries, traditional Chinese medicine has gained worldwide fame not only for being natural, but also for being highly effective. Join Dr. Cathy Ding, owner and Chinese Medicine Practitioner at Sunshine Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine K-W to learn about the fascinating world of Chinese medicine.
