Join men's basketball coach Greg Francis for dinner in Renison's Great Hall Cafeteria on Monday, November 12! After sharing a meal, Coach Francis will deliver a talk and then open up the floor for a question and answer period.
The event is open to everyone; you can either purchase your dinner at Renison's cafeteria or bring your own! (Renison residents can attend for free.) Seating is limited.
Greg Francis is entering his first year as bench boss of the Waterloo men's
basketball program. Greg has an impressive international and Canadian
Interuniversity Sport (CIS) basketball credentials including head coach of
the Alberta Golden Bears, a CIS silver medal in 2012, head coach of the
Canadian Junior Men's National Team and head coach of the National Elite
Development Academy (NEDA). He is also currently the assistant coach of the Senior Men's National Team.
On the court, Greg played in the NCAA as well as part of team Canada in the Summer Olympics (2000) in Sydney alongside NBA star Steve Nash.
He has also played in the British Basketball League and professionally in Lebanon. Greg comes to our university with a lot of amazing experiences both as an athlete and as a coach. Join us on November 12th at 5 pm in the Renison cafeteria as he discusses his experiences in life and leadership.
