Social Service Worker (SSW) seminar series: "Ethics, schmethics, what's the buzz?" Ethical decision-making in community healthcareExport this event to calendar

Monday, April 6, 2009 — 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM EDT

This provocative, case-based seminar provides a framework for ethical decision-making in today's real world. Some theoretical constructs essential to creating such a framework will be discussed, but we will primarily work with topical issues and content relevant to community ethics. Students and practitioners will be provided with a toolkit to assist them in ethical decision-making in every day practice.

Presented by Frank Wagner

Mr. Wagner is a Bioethicist, Toronto Central Community Care Assess Centre and the Joint Centre for Bioethics, and Assistant Professor, Dept. of Family and Community Medicine, University of Toronto.

Co-sponsored by: Ontario Association of Social Workers.

All are welcome! Admission is free.
