New student portal for Arts students

The portal is a new, mobile-friendly online communications tool that delivers UWaterloo information students need, just when they need it. Arts students are being rolled in department by department, with Social Development Studies students being invited to sign on last week. Honorary Senior Fellows, School of Social Work students in the news

Social Work students Tiffany D'Souza and Elizabeth Pans were recently featured in The Record's story and photo about the Working Centre. The story highlights the work of Joe and Stephanie Mancini, who were installed as Honorary Senior Fellows at this year's Founders' Day celebration. The Mancini's purchased a new building for The Working Centre, which they founded more than 30 years ago.

Yan Li invited to speak at International Festival of Authors

Yan Li, Director of the Confucius Institute, has been invited to read a selection from her novel, Lily in the Snow, which provides a unique perspective on the universal tale of intergenerational conflict, and explores the Chinese immigrant experience in Canada with humour and insight. The International Festival of Authors will take place on Sunday, October 26 at 4:00 pm at the

Renison appoints Associate Director of International and Inter-Cultural Development

Renison is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Tanya Missere-Mihas as Associate Director of International and Inter-Cultural Development, effective October 1, 2014. After earning her BA (Honours English) from the University of Guelph, Tanya studied her B.Ed (TESL) at Brock University.
