Every year during the final College Dinner of the winter term, residents at Renison are honoured for their outstanding contribution to the college. It's always a difficult decision process, since so many of our residents are actively involved and continue the tradition of a close-knit residence community.
It is with great sadness that This Week at Renison reports the passing of a very good friend of Renison University College, The Most Rev. Terence Finlay. He died on March 20, in Toronto, at age 79.
Archbishop Finlay was not only Renison’s Dean of Residence and Chaplain from 1964 to 1966 but also the Anglican Chaplain to the University of Waterloo and Waterloo Lutheran University as well as the Rector of All Saints Anglican Church in Waterloo.
