For the fifth year, the Humanities 101 (HUM 101) course will be running this spring at Renison. A tuition-free university-level program for economically marginalised individuals, HUM 101 is intended to awaken interest in education, increase self-esteem, and serve as a springboard to further community involvement and/or education.
On Tuesday, May 2, Renison student Alex McEwin was featured in The Stratford Beacon Herald for his efforts to raise awareness and funds for multiple sclerosis (MS). McEwin has a special interest in the subject as he was recently diagnosed with the disease. He enrolled in Social Development Studies at Renison with the aim of focusing on psychology.
