Well Done Thou Good and Faithful Servant - Celebrating the wonderful life of Joy Prittie

On Saturday April 18, at the age of 92, Joy Prittie passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s General Hospital due to congestive heart failure. A private family graveside service was held and presided over by Reverend Victor Kischak, the Rector at the Church of the Holy Saviour. The Venerable Peter Townshend, former Rector at Holy Saviour, assisted.

Becoming a Babe (in Boyland)

Driving up with my parents in our packed van to Frosh week 1993 I was telling myself that of course I would be in the girls’ residence building. After all, it had four floors and only one girls’ floor was in the boys’ building. The odds were definitely in my favour. But the cheery leaders told me I was ‘one of the lucky ones’ to be on Babes in Boyland.
