Dr. Chinmay Pandya visits Renison, Memorandum of Understanding established between Renison and Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya University (DSVV)

On Monday, July 25, Renison hosted Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Pro Vice Chancellor, Chairperson, International Festival for Yoga, Culture and Spirituality, Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya University, India. During the visit, Renison University College President Dr. Wendy Fletcher and Dr. Pandya signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU has a term of 5 years, and declares the intention of both institutions to explore the possibility of establishing mutually beneficial programs and projects.

SDS Buddies – Creating Meaningful Connections for First Year Students

Transitioning into the first year of a university program can be tough, whether a student is entering directly from high school, transferring from another institution, or after spending time away from school after being in the workforce. The Social Development Studies (SDS) Buddies program, launched in September 2019, aims to help with this transition, providing peer support by pairing incoming SDS students with an upper year SDS student. SDS buddies provide additional support to new students, as a go-to person for questions or guidance.

Nominations invited - Upcoming vacancy on the Board of Governors

The Renison Board of Governors invites nominations for one (1) upcoming vacancy among the elected members of the Board effective January 1, 2023 for a three year term. The Board is seeking a candidate with a legal background. To be eligible for nomination, the nominee must be at least 18 years of age and be committed to acting in the best interests of Renison as a whole community.
