donations form a scene from the north pole!

Last week, BSW students Amber Jackson and Allison Dietrich created this lovely display of donated food alongside other Ray of Hope (Youth Addictions Services) staff and some of the youth - and their display was chosen as the winning entry!

Jackson says that this project was really a collaborative effort from many people at the College. "We wanted to send Renison the photo of our holiday display so the faculty and students could see what their wonderful contributions helped to create. We had boxes placed in the BSW Lounge for a couple of weeks and got a good response from Renison, which we were very pleased about. Contributions were used to create this display and will be dismantled and sent to the Ray of Hope Community Centre so individuals and families can have access to basic necessities during the holiday season, as well as over the winter."
