Four Renison students took home awards at the Ontario Japanese Speech Contest on the weekend, with three of them qualifying to compete at the national competition at the end of the month. Kumiko Kunizane, Coordinator of Japanese Studies, says that our students did an outstanding job. "All seven participants worked so hard to create a speech which speaks themselves, and they showed their best performance on the stage. We feel honoured to have such talented and hardworking students. I would like to express sincere gratitude to Fumie-sensei and Eri-sensei for their dedicated guidance." Congratulations to all our students, and to the winners:
