Faculty members and postdoctoral fellows are invited to attend an information session to learn about the German research landscape and funding programs to support research activities in Germany and/or with German partners. Attendees will learn about the Alexander von Humboldt fellowship and DAAD.
The Alexander von Humboldt fellowship and research support provides fully-funded opportunities for young scholars (within 12 years of obtaining a Ph.D.) to visit Germany and carry out research with German scholars for varying lengths of time. These opportunities are ideal for a post-doctoral fellowship experience, or a first sabbatical leave for new faculty.
DAAD is a German Academic Exchange Service. Information will be provided about its funding programs to support research in Germany or in collaboration with German partners. This information will be relevant to faculty and postdocs regardless of discipline.
