Waterloo faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the Friesen lecture featuring Dr. David Lorne J. Tyrrell, recipient of the 2021 Henry G. Friesen International Prize in Health Research, awarded by Friends of CIHR. Dr. Tyrrell is a distinguished professor at the University of Alberta with major interests in the prevention and treatment of viral diseases. His multi-faceted career in academic medicine, virology, pharmaceutical enterprise and dedicated advocacy for health research in Canada are being honoured with the 2021 Henry G.
Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend one or all sessions centered around Intellectual Property (IP) hosted by Eric Luvisotto and co-hosted by Mike Crinson and Jennifer Ko. Topics will include the basics of IP, copyright and trademarking.
All sessions will run from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. through Zoom.
