Join four researchers at the next Research Talks for a panel discussion about knowledge, history, and research for Waterloo staff, faculty, and students:

  • Heather Douglas (Associate Professor, Philosophy, Associate Director, Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Energy, and Waterloo Chair in Science and Society): Responsible innovation
  • Sebastian Fischmeister (Associate Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering): Safety and security of real-time software and autonomous driving

  • Ted Graham (Head of Open Innovation, General Motors): The future of transportation at General Motors

  • George Takach (Renior Partner, McCarthy Tétrault): Legal aspects of technology

Research Talks is a regular series hosted by the Office of Research and supported by the Research Support Fund to celebrate research and provide an opportunity for the Waterloo community to learn about the world-class and life-changing research at Waterloo.
