Waterloo is hosting "Rooted in History: A Celebration of Black History as Canadian History." The event will include a performance, a keynote address and a panel of some of our most formidable thinkers in celebration of Black History in Canada and those trailblazers making history right here at Waterloo.
Our speakers will include:

- Kathy Hogarth, Associate Professor, School of Social Work
- Aaron Francis, Equity Advisor, Graduate Student Association
- Christopher Taylor, Black Equity Strategist, Anti-Racism Advisor, and Lecturer
