The Electronic IP Disclosure Form is available for researchers to disclose Intellectual Property (IP) and should be completed by April 30, 2020, a date that has been extended from the original deadline of March 31.
Seven research collaborations between the University of Waterloo and institutions around the world will receive funding to collaborate on projects ranging from artificial intelligence powered modelling for climate response prediction to the early detection of neurogenerative diseases.
More than 38 Waterloo researchers and colleagues in Germany, China, Australia, Spain, France, Scotland, England, and the Netherlands are involved. The research projects are funded by Waterloo, up to $20,000 per project, and matched by partner universities.
The University of Waterloo has been named an associate member university of TRIUMF, a partnership aimed at developing opportunities and accelerating relationships between the centre and Waterloo researchers.
