Waterloo among new KW4Health Ontario Team

The University of Waterloo is one of more than 30 organizations – and the only educational institution – in Waterloo Region among a newly established network of health expertise announced by the Ontario Ministry of Health.

The KW4Health Ontario Team (OHT) is a collaboration that represents health providers in primary care, regional hospitals, long term care, and mental health in Kitchener, Waterloo, and the Townships of Wellesley, Wilmot, and Woolwich.

Waterloo researchers awarded infrastructure funding for COVID-19 research

Three University of Waterloo researchers will receive funding for equipment and tools to support COVID-19 research.

The projects are among 79 across Canada named in an announcement today of close to $28 million in research infrastructure support through the Canada Foundation for Innovation’s (CFI) Exceptional Opportunities Fund by the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry.
