Ski or snowshoe outing in Heidelberg

A wonderful start to the new year with a ski or snowshoe day in Heidelberg.
The snow arrived!! Retirees and guests were invited to join Marg Burnett for a ski or snowshoe around the sugar bush behind her house. This is a very flat route and a beautiful site with the fresh snow. The round trip lasted about an hour. It was a wonderful morning of winter fun in the sunshine. It was cold but clear and bright and everyone kept warm with winter activity around the Heidelberg sugar bush. The trip ended with some coffee and snacks and great conversation. Watch for more opportunities to get outside and enjoy the beautiful snow we have in the region.
The next outing is scheduled for January 15th at Schneider's Woods for cross-country skiing.
