The autumn banquet for 2017 continues with the theme of the History of the University of Waterloo, during the 60th anniversary year

Time of Banquet: Tuesday October 17, 2017, 11:30 to 14:30 in Fed Hall at the University of Waterloo. People should arrive between 11:00 and 12:00. Lunch will be served at 12:00. The talks will take place at 12:45. Parking will be provided in parking lots nearby to the Federation Hall. The cost is $32.00 per person, which covers the meal, the speakers, and parking. The bar is open for the purchase of drinks. The meal is catered by the University of Waterloo food services.
 
The theme for this banquet is the history of three departments/schools that have attained significant national and international profiles in their fields over the university's 60 years. The title is: The Development of Kinesology, Optometry, and Planning over the first 60 years of the University of Waterloo.
 
The guest speakers will be: Jim Frank on Kinesiology, Jake Sivak on Optometry and Robert Shipley on Planning.
