What is art? Three friends. One white canvas. Many opinions.
Winner of countless awards and touted as one of the most successful plays ever on Broadway and London’s West End, this cleverly crafted dramedy asks the pivotal question – what is art?
When Serge, who fancies himself as an art collector, buys an expensive painting, his friends Marc and Yvan react strongly to the extravagant purchase. The tension mounts, and a fierce debate ensues.
As the conversation moves from the theoretical to the personal, the three friends are forced to ask questions not only about the nature of art, but also about the nature of friendship.
This inventive play about the value of art and the fickleness of friendship is a theatrical masterpiece. Don't miss it.
