Autumn 2018 Banquet

The UWRA luncheon talks will continue on the theme of History of the University of Waterloo.

Time of Banquet: Wednesday October 10, 2018 11:30 am to 2:00 pm in Federation Hall at the University of Waterloo.  People should arrive by 11:00 am.  Lunch will be served at 12:00 noon and talks will begin at 12:45.  Parking will be provided in parking lots nearby to Federation hall. (free parking is available in lots J, S and V) The cost is $32.00 per person which covers the meal, the speakers and parking.  The bar is open for the purchase of drinks. 

For this banquet in October 2018 two long-standing programs will be highlighted. First, Dr. Daniel Younger will talk on the history of the Department of Combinatorics and Optimization. This will be followed by Dr. Paul Eagles talking on the history of the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies, which celebrates its 50^th anniversary in 2018.

Please register for this event on Ticketfi, which can be reached from the UWRA retirees website. The room being used in Federation Hall has a seating limit of 72, so this is the limit for registrations for the event.

This is a catered event, so the number of attendees must be provided to U of W catering October 7 2018. New registrations or cancellations cannot be accepted after October 7, 2018
