Professor Arash Arami, head of the Neuromechanics and Assistive Robotics Lab and member of the RoboHub's extended research team, will be hosting a keynote talk on June 30th from 4:00 - 4:30 pm EDT at CSME 2021.

RoboHub-supported student team is ranked best in the world

A team of engineering students at the University of Waterloo, supported by the RoboHub, WEEF, and several other on-campus groups, has climbed to the top of the standings in an international robotics competition.

The UWAT VEX U team, which has been growing steadily since its launch in 2018, has been ranked first among 77 teams from around the world, including China, Mexico, Spain and Morocco, in the VEX U event operated by the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation.

RoboHub collaborator awarded $250k to explore applications of virtual reality for social justice

Professor Oliver Schneider, an Engineering faculty member in Management Sciences and a RoboHub collaborator, has recently been awarded $250,000 under the New Frontiers in Research Fund 2020 Exploration program, which brings researchers from different disciplines together to pursue high-risk, high-reward research projects.
