Master of Accounting (MAcc) students, Andy Lau, Lacsy Panchalingam , Anna Zuo, and Adnan Khan, at right, took home $4000 and first place at McMaster University's Fast Pace to the Case Competition (FPC).
This is the last competition these students will compete in before graduating and beginning their professional careers.
These polished students are thankful for this opportunity and encourage all students through first year and beyond to enter as many case competitions they can for the experience and practice.
"FPC was definitely a competition that consolidated content from the past four years of university. Tips to younger years: next time when you ask yourself whether you should attend a case competition, instead ask yourself, "Why am I not attending this case competition?" Have fun and just do it! Your future self will thank you for your choices today. Shout out to the first years who braved this competition like true champs."
Hosted by the DeGroote School of Business, the FPC is the largest cash prize of the accounting competitions in Southern Ontario.
On behalf of the SAF, congratulations on your unstoppable ambition and drive!
