Making sense of profit shifting: Ken Klassen

Earlier this year Ken Klassen, Deloitte Professor and Director of the Waterloo Centre for Taxation in a Global Economy was interviewed by the US Tax Foundation.  This interview has now been published on their web site under the title Making Sense of Profit Shifting: Ken Klassen

In the interview, Prof. Klassen shared his thoughts and comments with the US Tax Foundation on the nature, drivers, and economic effects of profit shifting. Prof. Klassen discusses the current definitions of profit sharing, the issues that arise from these conflicting definitions, how the magnitude of profit shifting remains unclear, and the fact that further multilateral cooperation is a necessary step to improve the status quo in global tax.
