Assistant Professor

Jordan BableBrief biography

Prior to becoming an accounting academic, I worked in retail investing for a regional bank in the United States and later served as an auditor for the U.S. Defense Contract Audit Agency. Now, I study how the behaviors of managers, employees, and investors are influenced by different accounting-related stimuli including internal communications, external disclosures, and compensation schemes. Outside of academia, I like to hike, climb, ski, play trivia games, and pick stocks…all with varying degrees of success.
