What Courses Will I Be Taking in the BSW Part-time Program?

The part-time program is designed for applicants with completed Bachelor of Arts (or equivalent) degrees who are already working in social service roles but wish to enhance their education while maintaining their employment. As with the full-time program, the same prerequisites and admission requirements must be met. See: admissions.

Students in the part-time program may enter the BSW level courses in either January or September. It is also important to note that BSW students may ONLY be enrolled in SWREN courses throughout the BSW program.

Part-time students can complete the BSW program within three years. At least one course is offered in each semester - either on-line, on-campus (one evening per week), or through multi-modal formats which include on-line course delivery with a required on-campus component or in an intensive format.

Students must take courses in both formats in order to complete the degree within three years.
