• On-campus Science Computing offices are *open* with limited core hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Please contact a Science Computing representative for an appointment.
      • Due to reduced staffing, walk-ins may be disappointed.
      • Virtual support is still available at the above contacts or via Teams.
  • In-person access to the student computing labs (Nexus labs) is not currently available.

Can't log in to Nexus

  • Try logging in to a different terminal than the one that refused you.
  • Refresh or change your WatIAM password:
    • Go to the WatIAM user access page.
    • Scroll down to the "Manage your account" section.
    • Click "Forgotten password."
    • Enter your WatIAM username and an external email address (not a campus email address).
    • Check your inbox for a password reset email, there will be a link in the body of the email.
    • Follow the link in the email and reset your password.
  • Once your password is changed, you can try logging in on a Nexus terminal you have not logged in to recently. Sometimes, the Nexus terminal will “remember” the password you entered the last time.
  • If you still can’t log in to Nexus, contact the Science Computing Helpdesk.
