The Science Open House will be held on October 27 in the Centre for Environmental and Information Technology.
This free event is the result of a collaborative effort that brings together activities from all science departments to introduce the wonders of science to kids of all ages!
Don't forget to enter your name into the raffle at the Registration Table for your chance to win one of our exciting door prizes!
Free parking is available in Lot C, off Seagram Drive across from the main University entrance. Accessible parking for those with a valid sticker can be found just west of the EIT building. The Science Open House and Gem and Mineral Show are hosted mainly in the Centre for Environmental and Information Technology, EIT on the Campus Map.
Kids Day: 10 AM - 4 PM
Saturday, October 27:
The day will be filled with fun activities and science experiments for children of all ages. To get an even better idea of what the day has in store and where activities will be happening, be sure to take a look through our Science Open House Brochure (PDF).

- fossil fishing
- gold panning
- walk inside a giant cell
- create a laser maze
- hands on chemistry experiments

Chemistry Magic Show: 11 AM and 2 PM, in Biology 1- Room 271
This high energy show features loud noise, open flames and some of the most fascinating experiments for kids of all ages!
