Waterloo Science welcomes future students and their families to come and discover our undergraduate programs, campus, student life and more at this year's Fall Open House.
You'll have the opportunity to meet with our professors, staff, and students, who will help you decide whether Waterloo is right for you.
Read what people had to say about our previous Fall Open House. While you're here, take a walking tour of the campus and speak with our Student Ambassadors about their personal "Waterloo Experience."
The Science Open House will be held on October 27 in the Centre for Environmental and Information Technology.
This free event is the result of a collaborative effort that brings together activities from all science departments to introduce the wonders of science to kids of all ages!
Don't forget to enter your name into the raffle at the Registration Table for your chance to win one of our exciting door prizes!

The exam will cover material that a well-read junior high school chemistry student is likely to have come across in the course of studies. Students may expect to find a few probing and demanding questions on some of the main topics of high school chemistry. Certain mathematical skills closely related to the study of chemistry will be tested, and there will be a few questions on chemical topics not normally covered in high school.

Energy and environmental risk:
What do YOU want the
future of energy to be?
No energy source is risk free. All forms of managed energy (hydroelectric, nuclear, fossil fuels, wood, biofuels, solar, wind, tidal) carry risks of different types.
Join Maurice Dusseault and Stephen Evans in a discussion about the risk associated with different forms and sources of energy and how these possible hazards are often misunderstood, poorly estimated, or deliberately misrepresented.
