We would like to cordially invite you to an exhibition by Ukrainian students “War in life, life in war” hosted by Science Museums and Galleries from the Faculty of Science. On Wednesday, October 5th from 12:30-1:30 pm, Ukrainian students will attend the exhibit in the STC atrium to tell us stories about the resilience and resistance of Ukrainian people, show pictures from their hometowns and home universities, and share their first-hand experiences with the war being waged on their country by Russia. Coffee and Ukranian treats will be provided.
The University of Waterloo and the Region of Waterloo will host a Sustainable Aeronautics Summit at the Region’s International Airport. The event will profile world-leading sustainable aeronautical research, technology, and education. The Summit aims to bring together a unique ecosystem in the region to catalyze sustainable innovations in air transportation.
Throughout the fall term President Vivek Goel is holding a series of in-person and virtual consultations to hear ideas from the university community and our partners about how we can accelerate Waterloo’s evolution to become an institution fit for the future. Join the conversation. University of Waterloo President Vivek Goel wants to hear from you.
