This year's Farvolden Lecture Series and Groundwater Research Symposium, hosted by the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, features Dr. Peter Fritz, Scientific and Founding Director of the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research, UFZ, Leipzig, Germany.
Dr. Fritz will discuss the changing science of hydrogeology and its evolution from a strictly physical and engineering based approach into a broad interdisciplinary field of study.
A reception will follow outside the Humanities Lecture room.
