The Earth Sciences Museum is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year and as part of its celebration will be providing a public tour of the Rock Garden and Museum.

Grade 11 and 12 Biology teachers, bring your class to the University of Waterloo on October 24, 2017 to hear Dr. Rino Rappuoli, Canada Gairdner International Award Winner, speak about his career and research in "pioneering the genomic approach, known as reverse vaccinology, used to develop a vaccine against meningococcus B which has saved many lives worldwide."
Dr. Rino Rappuoli is the Chief Scientist and Head External R&D at GSK Vaccines, Siena, Italy. He was awarded a 2017 Canada Gairdner International Award "For pioneering the genomic approach, known as reverse vaccinology, used to develop a vaccine against meningococcus B which has saved many lives worldwide."
