This is your opportunity to hear a Canada Gairdner Award laureate explain her research and talk what inspired her to pursue a career in science.

Note: This is one of two lectures by Dr. Maquat. This "On being a scientist"-themed lecture focuses on her journey as a scientist and how to make a career doing something you love, and is pitched for the general public and high school students. The "Research Lecture" focuses on the specifics of her research and will be held in EIT 3142 at 3:30pm October 27th, no registration required. Both lectures are open to the public.
