The 2014 Groundwater Research Symposium will feature engaging presentations from experts in the field of ecohydrology and hydrogeology.
Canada Excellence Research Chair, Dr. Philippe Van Cappellen will discuss the environmental and biogeochemical effects of river damming through the explanation of some of his current research on algal blooms and nutrient retention.
Alumnus and Principal Hydrogeological Engineer, Paul Martin from Matrix Solutions Inc. will outline the water budget process and illustrate some of the knowledge developed through studies across south-western Ontario.
Registration opens starting at 8:45 a.m. in DC 1301.
NOTE: The first presentation starts at 9:30a.m. and the second is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
