DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, we will explore the connections between Miranda\
 nFricker’s work on epistemic injustice and the ways that it can\nmanifes
 t in academic settings. We will focus on the relation between\nepistemic i
 njustice and social privilege\, highlighting the ways in\nwhich epistemic 
 injustice directly contributes to ongoing gender\ninequity. Finally\, we w
 ill offer some ways in which we might work\ntoward greater gender equity a
 nd what our personal responsibilities\nfor collective injustice might cons
 ist in.
