Thinking of applying to Science and BusinessBiotechnology/Chartered Professional Accountancy, or Biotechnology/Economics programs at the University of Waterloo? The best way to find out if these programs are right for you is to see what a day in the life of a student looks like, first hand.

Join us on campus for our Shadow Day (Science and Business, Biotechnology/Chartered Professional Accountancy, Biotechnology/Economics)  — led by a team of current students, faculty, and staff who want to give you an inside look.

  • Connect with current students and ask them your questions
  • Attend sample lectures and labs
  • Meet professors and lab instructors who may, one day, teach one of your classes
  • Tour the campus, science facilities, and student spaces

Science and Business, Biotechnology/Chartered Professional Accountancy, and Biotechnology/Economics programs are unique and interdisciplinary and are designed to produce a pool of in-demand graduates who possess a blend of knowledge in science, technology, business, economics and accounting. Because you will not find programs quite like ours anywhere else, we want to give you a snapshot of what your experience here, as a student in one of these programs, might look like.
