SIH Skills Development: Science and the Media

The media often covers the results from published papers to provide information to the general public. We’ll be looking at a recently published academic paper and examine how three different Canadian media pieces covered it.

We'll do a deep dive and discuss how mass media coverage has affected the public’s understanding of this scientific discovery.
