Timeline of elements event

Unveiling an International Masterpiece!

The Department of Chemistry and the Faculty of Science welcome all alumni, friends and family to a very special occasion as we celebrate the International Year of the Periodic Table.

We will be officially opening the Timeline of Elements exhibit: a large artistic mural, a mosaic portrait of the founder of the Periodic Table, and associated interactive displays depicting the discovery of the elements that make up the Periodic Table. This is an international collaboration, comprised of wonderfully crafted element tiles that have been created by students from 28 countries.

Please join us for the unveiling of this incredible project and to play with the displays that promise to spark the interest of chemists and want-to-be chemists alike.  You can meet the pioneers behind this project, faculty chemists and researchers, as well as enjoy some light refreshments with us.

This event is free, however we would appreciate your registration prior to October 25, 2019.

Our guests are welcome to park in Parking Lot C (complimentary) .
