The Faculty of Science honoured three outstanding alumni Wednesday evening as they presented the Young Alumni Award and Distinguished Alumni Awards at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto.
Science volunteers are vital to building connections with the community and inspiring youth to study sciences in higher education. In honour of National Volunteer Week, the Faculty of Science would like to recognize two of our main undergraduate volunteer programs: Science Ambassadors and Science Outreach.

The University of Waterloo TD Discovery Days in Health Sciences welcomed more than 250 grade 10 and 11 high school students yesterday as they explored the wide variety of careers in the field of health sciences through a full day of workshops and health-related career events.
