The third floor of ESC open corridor (from EIT bridge to B1) is closed. The Physics building main stairwell and office wing on both second and third floors will be closed until necessary repairs to the main stairwell are completed. Physics administrative offices will re-open on Monday, June 11 in PHY 345.

This past weekend, community members big and small explored the world of science with the University of Waterloo at Kidspark hosted by the City of Kitchener. The annual event creates a fun and interactive playground atmosphere for children and youth to engage in a range of activations led by various regional partners.

Waterloo scientists receive funding for research on human health

The University of Waterloo’s Propel Centre for Population Health Impact has announced the recipients of the Spring 2015 Chronic Disease Prevention Initiative Seed Fund competition.

Waterloo’s Chronic Disease Prevention Initiative (CDPI) offers seed grants of up to $10,000 to bring together new multidisciplinary teams and increase their success in applications for external funding.
